ABOUT US
Jim Robbins and Associates, Inc. was incorporated
in the state of Tennessee in September of 1980. With it's focus in bulk solids
handling and air pollution control equipment, JRA began serving East Tennessee and
Southwest Virginia with eight principals from Knoxville. JRA established itself
with a solid reputation of supplying reliable, rugged, and cost effective solutions to our customers
with equipment and systems that is built to last. JRA grew and expanded over the
years and offered wider variety of custom designed solutions for our customers
applications.
In 1993, JRA moved its office to Chattanooga to
better serve our customers in Middle Tennessee, while still making a commitment
for outstanding customer service and excellent equipment; standing behind each
one of our installations.
After he graduated with a Bachelors of
Science from Tulane University, Walker Robbins opened the Memphis Office in
January of 1998. Walker had worked in the Knoxville and Chattanooga office and
was extensively trained by JRA's principals before opening the Memphis Office.
The Memphis office was opened to serve West Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, as
well as parts of Kentucky and Louisiana. Walker recently received his
degree completing the
M.B.A. program at Union University's Germantown, TN campus. Walker has also
been involved with several non-profit organizations donating his time to
Carnival Memphis' Grand Krewe of Ptolemy, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
and others.
JRA now represents approximately 20 companies with
outstanding reputations. Other representative agencies throughout the
country have made numerous remarks about the outstanding quality of the
equipment, systems and service offered by JRA. We want every one of our
installations to be a potential reference for other customers, so each
installation counts.
