General Kinematics Corporation, incorporated in 1960, was established
to market, design, and custom fabricate innovative vibratory materials handling
and processing equipment.
From a very modest beginning, using sub-contractor facilities, the company
presently operates from an office and engineering center in Barrington,
Illinois. Manufacturing is done in a modern 200,000 square foot facility,
expressly arranged for the efficient, high quality construction of innovative
vibratory equipment, located in nearby Crystal Lake, Illinois.
Today, the company is one of the world's largest suppliers of vibratory
processing equipment, holding more than 200 worldwide patents, and is
acknowledged as a major contributor to the technical advancement of vibrating
equipment design and application.
An expanding worldwide customer base is serviced through a network of
engineering oriented independent sales representatives who cover industrial
markets throughout the United States. International markets are covered from a
subsidiary operation in the United Kingdom and through a combination of
representatives and licensed manufacturers in other strategic foreign locations.

Dryer Application Data Sheet
Fluid Bed Coating Feature
With the advent of the additive coating spray feature, our fluidized bed
processors can provide superior dispersion of additives for chemicals,
polymers, foods and other process industries. Surface coverage is
excellent for a broad range of grandular solid and powder materials.
 | Superior dispersion for a wide range of additives.
 | Ideal for difficult applications with broad particle size
distribution.
 | Coating normally includes drying or cooling. |
| | |
Vibra-Drum(R) Vibratory Grinding Mills
In addition to mining ores and concentrates, our Vibra-Drum grinding
mills are proven in dozens of applications in the chemical, food
ingredient and pharmaceutical industries. Processors are achieving
impressive energy savings (35-50%), thanks to a unique rotational material
motion that is more efficient than conventional ball or rotary mills.
 | High reduction ratios with grinding throughput to 10 tons per unit
for fine grinds for 8- mesh to low micron sizes
|
 | Uniform particle shape due to high frequency, low impact design that
produces high material attrition.
|
 | Low capital investment when compared to rotating mills with equal
chamber size and media loads.
|
 | Reduced installation cost -- balanced, isolated units do not require
massive concrete foundations.
|
 | Less maintenance cost -- no costly drive reducers or mill support
bearing to replace.
|
 | Extensive laboratory testing capabilities assure that performance
will exceed your expectations.
Exceptional grinding performance and energy saving are the result of
natural frequency design. A sub-resonant two mass drive and spring
system alternately stores and releases grinding power. Once in motion,
energy is only needed to move the grinding media as a fluid mass, and
to overcome frictional losses. |

Finger Screen
General Kinematics Finger Screens are designed to perform more
efficiently with recycled wood or paper than perforated or wire mesh
screens. Their unique design enables materially to be efficiently
separated and classified while cascading over a series of tapered
"finger" elements.

|
Fines Screens
The company also custom-engineers a wide range of vibratory screens to
remove sawdust and grit (-4mm) at rates to 40 TPH. Designed to be fast and
efficient, these 1000 RPM screens feature heavy duty wire mesh that is
tensioned to maintain a "live" deck.
